We love Mexico, and in particular, San Blas.
We keep going back, over and over, because it's become a second home to us.
We love Canada too (especially our little town of Powell River on the BC coast), and we feel very blessed to be able to spend half the year in each wonderful country (Marilyn just gave all her winter clothes to the Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Store).
The weather in San Blas is beautiful in the winter, almost always sunny and warm.
San Blas is not a resort or a sanitized version of Mexico. It's a bit gritty, a little confusing at times, and it's real. If you have some adventure in your spirit, you'll probably love it. If you just want to relax and be pampered, you might prefer a resort.
